Shane Cairns

Project Manager, CORA Practice Lead

As a SecureStrux Project Manager and Cloud Security Lead, Shane Cairns provides Cybersecurity Assessments and Engineering for both clients within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the commercial sector. Shane provides expert cyber advisement for Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRIs), Microsoft Azure, Secure Network Design, Wireless, Mobility technologies, and Vulnerability Scanning and Management.

Shane brings over 20 years of cyber compliance, network design, and vulnerability management to SecureStrux. Mr. Cairns has successfully led and managed various vulnerability and cyber inspection teams throughout his tenure and is recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft Cloud technologies.

Shane holds several technical certifications from Tenable, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, and Checkpoint. He is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and has earned a B.S. from Shippensburg University.
