The GloMA Product Owner and SW Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for software development using Java and being a Product Owner on the GloMA Team.

The Work You’ll Do
This position is for a Mid-Level Engineer on the C2BMC JEMINI program to serve as Product Owner of our GloMA team. The candidate will primarily be responsible for software development using Java. A successful candidate should be able to:
- Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently or with a small group
- Be flexible in a highly dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Provide leadership for a software team that performs in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java
- Perform complex problem resolution assisting software team in design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline
- Follow specifications in order to develop or modify stories for the software team to work
- Assist in removing blockers from software team
- Interface with other system support groups and software leadership to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, or Masters’ degree with 3+ years’ experience, or equivalent
- Active Top-Secret clearance required to start, with the ability to be cleared at TS/SCI
- Java experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment
- Knowledge of software practices and coding standards
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution
Experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Command and control system application development
- Previous experience with message translation software
- Automated test and pipeline development experience
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
- Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts
- Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation
- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment
Preferred
- IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ or equivalent) desired
Salary Range: $120,000-$163,000
