The DevSecOps Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program.

The Work You’ll Do

• The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).
• Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
• Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
• Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
• Determine system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, or Masters’ degree with 3+ years’ experience, or equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• IAT Level II/ IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Sec+ CE or similar).
•  Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration.
• Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation.
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
• Must be responsible to work independently/solo at times on large projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.

Preferred 

• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower.
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD.
• Experience with Nexus.
• Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware.
• Understanding of HP server configuration.
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Experience with Agile methodology.

Salary Range: Starting at $130,000; commensurate with experience
