Shane Walradt joins SecureStrux with over 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity; he held positions in both the tactical and strategic realm in support of the war fighter and the war fighting efforts. Throughout his career, Shane has provided support to the Department of Defense Joint Headquarters and all four branches of service, active and reserve components at home and abroad. Serving over 20 years in the U.S. Army has given him experience in a full spectrum of information technology and security in stable and adverse environments.
Shane provides information technology engineering and network security support to SecureStrux’s diverse customers in obtaining and maintaining command, control and communications compliance with the DISA STIGs and RMF.
While in the U.S. Army, Shane was the senior technical expert and advisor to Commanders at every level, on information technology implementation and security, which included subjects such as 802.1x, virtualization, and engineering and securing the WAN and LAN. Shane’s knowledge and experience in information technology deployment and operations, supporting the gambit of agencies, gives him the ability to conduct evaluations, certifications, accreditations, and support our clients operating secure solutions.
Shane holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional – Route and Switch certification, as well as the Certified Ethical Hacker, ITILv3, and CompTIA Security + certifications. In 2016, Shane earned his Masters of Science in Information Technology – Telecommunications Management from UMUC and retired from the U.S. Army in 2018.
