As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for SecureStrux, Jeff Parker provides Cybersecurity Assessments for Clients, both within the Department of Defense (DoD) and various other commercial sectors. Jeff provides cyber assessments primarily for UNIX/Linux operation systems (OS), Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Databases, Web, Domain Name Services (DNS), and Application Security & Development.
Jeff brings over 20 years of experience to SecureStrux and has worked in many industries, including the military, commercial, and federal government sectors, for companies such as Celerity, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Mutual of Omaha. He has conducted hundreds of cyber assessments world-wide and is considered and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in UNIX, CDS, Web, and Database security. Outside of completing cyber assessments for the DoD, he has also taught UNIX, CDS, Web, and Database security classes to various DoD components and agency personnel. Jeff is active in USCYBERCOM’s Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) program and ensures Clients come into compliance with CCRI requirements.
Jeff is an active member of DISA’s Cross Domain Enterprise Solution (CDES) Working Group where he is helping to chart the course of future validation efforts for Cross Domain Solutions, both enterprise-based and point-to-point. Mr. Parker is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and certified within DISA RME’s Reviewer Certification Program (RCP) as a CCRI Reviewer. He has earned a B.S. in History from Illinois State University and served in the US Air Force.
