SecureStrux upgrades to ISO 9001:2015 certification

Modified on: February 15, 2018

As an organization committed to continually improving operational processes in providing cybersecurity services, SecureStrux, LLC successfully completed a third party audit to register under the ISO 9001:2015 Standard for their established Quality Management System.  The company originally registered in 2016.

The current registration verifies SecureStrux applies the ISO 9001:2015 Standard to the “Provision of specialized services in the areas of compliance, information security vulnerability management, cyber security strategies, IT Infrastructure and software development solutions.”

ISO 9001 provides organizations with a process-oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities, and procedures required to achieve effective quality management in an organization. To maintain registration for the full period of three years, SecureStrux will participate in third-party maintenance audits and regular internal audits.

The 2015 revision includes an emphasis on risk-based thinking to enhance the application of the process approach, improved applicability for services, and increased leadership requirements.  The ISO 9001 Standard helps the woman-owned small business to continually monitor for improvements in supporting customers with government compliance auditing and cybersecurity protocols.

Founded in 2008, the Arlington-based firm continues to adapt to the pace of business, and ISO 9001:2015 helps to ensure SecureStrux maintains a responsibility to best practice in delivering quality services to commercial and government customers all over the world.
