As the Vice President of Business Development, Michael Ferree is responsible for the development of new business, management of the sales cycle, and building strategic partnerships in order to drive revenue goals. Michael has proven performance in the process of identifying and qualifying, winning opportunities in both product and IT services. Michael has successfully demonstrated the ability to research, analyze, and develop program capture plans and assess the customer and partner environments to implement winning strategies for capturing business at multiple phases in the procurement process.
Michael brings over 20+ years of distinctive small business experience in the federal market supporting a wide range of customers. He has won multi-million-dollar prime contracts by managing long-term customer and prospect relationships. He has a strong technical and operational background that has produced organic growth on contracts by projecting and fulfilling new requirements. He has managed a portfolio of 14+ support contracts in 8 states with an average run value of $50 million. Michael has consistently managed results, ensuring that contracts have grown in value and were executed on time and under budget.
Prior to joining the firm and for more than 10 years, Michael performed in similar capacities as a Director for Craig Technologies. While with Craig, he contributed to the overall growth of the company from a small business under the 7 million size standard to over 400 employees. Supporting in various roles over the years including Business Development, Transition Manager, Program/Project Management, Contracts Operations, Human Resources support, Strategic Planning, and Customer Relationship Management. Michael’s supported customer base included NASA, DoD, Army, Navy, USMC, Air Force, TSA, and DISA. Michael holds several management certifications to include Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt.
Michael holds a technical degree in Computer Programming and is continuing his eduction to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
