The Information Analysis Centers (IAC) provide critical innovation to America’s warfighters through flexible, efficient, and low cost contracting structures that allow investment to focus on promising and succeeding efforts, supporting continuing research and development to meet DoD’s (and other Federal agencies) needs. The IACs are sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), which is a field activity under the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Development (ASD(R&D)). DTIC is the responsible organization to collect, organize and safeguard the results of DoD’s billions of dollars per annum investment in science and technology, prototyping and rapid fielding, providing the technical information to all DoD users.
