As Operations Manager for SecureStrux, Richard Frain provides oversight of SecureStrux’s daily operations where he manages and tracks personnel and personnel requirements, oversees and monitors contract performance and deliverables, and administers SecureStrux’s internal Quality Management Systems. Rick strives to ensure the core values of SecureStrux are followed and maintained to provide continued outstanding customer service.
Mr. Frain is a highly motivated and effective leader who has proven success in managing and developing a diversified workforce in highly complex operations. Prior to joining SecureStrux, Mr. Frain was a Manager with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for over 30 years. At WMATA, Rick managed a diverse workforce of over 120 front-line personnel and was responsible for cradle-to-grave management of a fleet of over 250 rail cars.
Rick served as Superintendent for WMATA, providing enterprise-level oversight for Facilities, Human Resources, Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance management and compliance. Rick’s extensive organizational leadership experience included Rail Yard Safety Committee Chairman, and Team Leader for the Authority’s Periodic Inspection Procedure Review.
Mr. Frain proudly served in the US NAVY until he retired in 1983. Rick is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is certified by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) as a Transit System Safety and Security Professional (TSSP).
