As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for SecureStrux, Marshall Gaines provides Cybersecurity Assessments for both customers within the Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial sector. Marshall provides expert advice and cyber assessments for Windows, Web, Database, Releasable Network (REL), HBSS, Network, Wireless, Mobility technologies and Vulnerability Scanning and Management.
Marshall brings over 20 years of cyber compliance, Windows administration, network administration, and vulnerability assessment experience to SecureStrux. Prior to joining the firm, Marshall performed similar cybersecurity assessments for the Defense Information System Agency’s (DISA) Risk Management Executive (RME), Joint Forces Headquarters – Department of Defense Information Networks (JFHQ-DODIN) and US CYBERCOM. He has successfully completed various vulnerability and cyber inspections throughout his tenure and is recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in conducting compliance inspections dealing with Windows (OS/DNS), Microsoft Exchange, Web, Database, Releasable Network (REL), HBSS, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning, Mobility technologies, and conducting Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs). Marshall is CompTIA Security+ ce certified and also certified within DISA RME’s Reviewer Certification Program (RCP) as both a CCRI Reviewer and CCRI Team Lead.
Mr. Gaines proudly served in the US Army from May 1984 to December 1998 as a Senior Communications Chief/Signal System Support Specialist where he supervised numerous soldiers and trained in various combat arms and support units throughout his Army career.
Mr. Gaines has earned a B.S. from University of Phoenix.
